Where's all the 8GB SD Cards?

It's been a recent phenomenon that you can't find 8GB SD cards anywhere. You might think this is important, since on many SCSI sampler formats, you don't need more than 8GB - and usually 4 ID's x 2GB max is what is figured.

However, there's no law that says you can't use a 16GB SD card and just use 8GB of it. 16GB SD cards are plentiful. In fact, sends their SCSI2SD unit out usually with a complimentary set-up 16GB SD card.

So we recommend just getting a 16GB SD card and not worrying about getting a perfectly-fit-size card. There's no functional difference between a 8GB or a 16GB card, besides the capacity.
